Dodge County 4-H Career Portfolio Competition

Why Complete Your 4-H Career Portfolio & Apply for Awards? . . .

BECAUSE...the 4-H Career Portfolio program is an opportunity for 4-H youth to exhibit an overall record of their involvement in 4-H, school and their communities. Utilizing the Career Portfolio, 4-H’ers are able to keep a cumulative record of all their involvement in 4-H and beyond. As a 4-H member, you and your projects will grow and so will your career portfolio. This will give you the opportunity to apply for county, district, state and national awards. It all starts with you building your 4-H portfolio!

Dodge County Career Portfolios are to be completed and turned in to the UNL Extension Office by Monday, November 2, 2009.

With the start of school and the season changing to fall, we all know that it is 4-H Career Portfolio time. CD-ROM’s that have the 4-H Career Portfolio template already on it are available at the UNL Extension Office. The 4-H’er will need to simply fill in the blanks and then print off their portfolio. The yearly story and supporting materials and sections will remain the same. However, you are no longer required to have separate record books for each of your 4-H projects. By filling out the Career Portfolio correctly, you will have all the information from the 4-H project books in your Career Portfolio.
